Our son Ashton is almost five years old now and has quite a few struggles in life mainly hes social skills. Up until he was four he did not say a single word. We feared he would be like that forever and accepted it as just another challenge to overcome but never gave up trying to get him to speak. Then to our surprise one day he just decided to start using hes words mainly letters and numbers but was still a great accomplishment for him as he could write the whole alphabet at one years old but would never say it. As parents we could not be more proud of our little boy and of all children who have autism and the mummys and daddys who are lucky enough to be blessed with them. please feel free to share your ups and downs in the hope others may benifit from your experiences
